Our team provides innovative and effective mercury capture solutions to a wide variety of industries. We work with diverse clients to determine the best carbon for their application, and ensure successful implementation with our personalized approach. Beyond this, our extensive experience includes consulting for carbon manufacturers worldwide and assisting with the United Nations Minamata Convention, Global Treaty for Mercury. The principal of C12 served as the Chairperson for the American Water Works Association Activated Carbon Standards Committee.

Dr. David Mazyck is currently the Head of the School of Engineering Design and Innovation at PennState University. Previously he held a full Professorship of Environmental Engineering Sciences at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. from Penn State University in Environmental Engineering, and has developed several technologies that have been commercialized through small businesses. Additional offices include previous technology lead for a NASA commercialization center, appointment by the World Coal Association to the United Nations to assist with a Global Treaty on Mercury, and service as Chairman of the American Water Works Association Activated Carbon Standards Committee. He is recognized as a world leader in activated carbon technologies.
